Terms of Service

The rules for using accounts, subscriptions, hardware purchases, electricity-price calculations, and device-control features.

Service scope

Smart Kilowatts helps users monitor electricity prices and schedule compatible devices. Electricity prices, calculations, connectivity, and automation can be delayed, unavailable, or incorrect.

The service is not designed for life-safety, medical, security-critical, industrial safety, or other systems where switching power could cause injury, property damage, data loss, or essential-service interruption.

User responsibilities

Users must verify appliance suitability, electrical load ratings, local electrical requirements, safe installation, network reliability, and manual override options before enabling automation.

Users are responsible for schedules, thresholds, device labels, tariff settings, and deciding whether a connected appliance can be power-cycled.

Payments and subscriptions

Product prices, taxes, delivery, payment terms, subscription periods, renewal, cancellation, and support levels are shown before checkout. Prices and payments are in EUR.

When online payment is enabled, payments are processed through makecommerce.lt, operated by Maksekeskus AS. Available methods can include MakeCommerce-supported bank payments and other payment methods, including Swedbank, SEB, Luminor, Citadele, and Šiaulių bankas where available.

MB "Kodo kalviai" is not currently registered for VAT, so VAT is not charged unless the seller details shown before checkout state otherwise.

Hardware availability is shown per product or order. Some items may be in limited stock or require supplier lead time before dispatch.

No separate commercial warranty is included unless it is explicitly shown on the product or order page. These Terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights, statutory warranties, or defective-product rights that cannot be waived by contract.

Availability and liability

Smart Kilowatts can limit liability for indirect losses, misuse, unsupported devices, inaccurate user settings, and service outages to the extent Lithuanian and EU law allows.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights and defective-product liability.
