Smart Kilowatts is operated by MB "Kodo kalviai", company code 303248025, registered address Žiedų g. 8, Paliepių k., LT-13280 Vilniaus r., Lithuania. MB "Kodo kalviai" is not currently registered for VAT.

This notice applies to Lithuanian and EU users of the Smart Kilowatts website, app, hardware ordering, provisioning, and cloud device-control services.

Data we process

Account data: name, username, email, password hash, preferred language, country, terms acknowledgements, and optional marketing consent status.

Object and device data: homes/buildings, city/country, tariff settings, dongle ids, device ids, MAC address where provided, IP/static IP fields, device labels, status, schedules, smart rules, energy and cost summaries, diagnostics, and provisioning records.

Commerce and support data: products, subscriptions, checkout and payment references, delivery and parcel snapshots, support messages, and complaint history.

Analytics data: privacy-safe product events and a pseudonymous analytics id. Analytics must not include email, raw user id, token, dongle id, MAC address, IP address, or raw device id.

Why we process data

We use data to provide accounts, device control, scheduling, electricity-price calculations, checkout, delivery, customer support, security, diagnostics, legal compliance, and product improvement.

If a user opts in, we also use the account email to send Smart Kilowatts news and commercial proposals. This consent is optional and can be withdrawn.

The main legal bases are contract performance, legal obligations, legitimate interests in security and service improvement, and consent for marketing messages or any future feature requiring consent.

Sharing, retention, and rights

We use service providers for hosting, email, analytics, payment reconciliation, delivery, support, and infrastructure. They may process personal data only for the services they provide to Smart Kilowatts.

Payments are processed through the makecommerce.lt platform, operated by Maksekeskus AS (Liivalaia 45, Tallinn 10145, Estonia, registry code 12268475). We transfer payment details needed to complete the selected payment to Maksekeskus AS.

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the service, legal obligations, disputes, security, and accounting, then delete or anonymize it where reasonably possible.

Users can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent where applicable. EU users may complain to their supervisory authority, including the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate.
