Safety & Responsible Use
Mandatory safety notice for remote control, schedules, smart rules, sun rules, weather rules, and dongle-managed devices.
Automation can cause harm
Remote or automatic switching can damage appliances, interrupt heating, cooling, charging, pumps, servers, routers, security systems, medical equipment, or other essential loads.
Frequent power cycling can shorten equipment life, corrupt data, stop safety functions, or create unsafe conditions if the connected appliance is not designed for it.
Before enabling control
Confirm the device and appliance are compatible with relay or plug switching, within rated load, installed safely, and allowed by the appliance manual and local electrical rules.
Keep a manual way to turn equipment on or off. Do not rely on Smart Kilowatts as the only control for safety-critical or property-critical systems.
Ongoing responsibility
Review schedules, thresholds, prices, weather conditions, and smart rules after setup and after changing appliances, tariffs, firmware, network equipment, or building use.
Disable automation immediately if a device behaves unexpectedly, shows overheating, fails to reconnect, or controls the wrong load.
